‘Improving the future of pituitary surgery research’
Your view matters in pituitary surgery research
We launched two projects in collaboration with the Pituitary Society .
So often, research carried out is not reflective of your needs or interests and many of your questions remain unanswered.
We wanted to hear what matters most to you to help improve the future of pituitary surgery research.
Check out our video below to see what our projects entailed. . .
Let’s find out more about these
two projects…
Part 1
A priority setting partnership (PSP) aims to identify the areas of research that are most important to focus on in future research studies.
By undertaking the PSP, we aimed to produce a list of the top 10 most important unanswered research areas in pituitary adenoma surgery research.
We’re excited to share that the results are in! Check out the full list of priorities on the PSP page!

Part 2
Core Outcome Set
A core outcome set (COS) is a list of agreed outcomes that should be measured in all research studies on a particular health condition.
By creating a set of agreed outcomes we can compare and combine results from various studies to draw meaningful conclusions.
